By the way, special memories bind her with Almaty. The point is that Svetlana for a long time was in correspondence with Almaty fellow Vasily, but she has never seen his face. Alby, studio operator of “voice of Asia” festival, who had heard this conversation, found Vasily in several days. Such a pleasant surprise made Svetlana to give nickname James Bond to Alby. Today Slavkovich has changed her image and looks like gypsy: her great grandmother turned out to be gypsy. Incidentally, Svetlana confesses that she is able to tell fortunes by Taro card.
Moreover, at the same time with Zikki famous Yugoslavian singer Vesna (her stage pseudonym is Wild Rose) and producer of popular Yugoslavian music channel “Pink” Marco Kon arrived in Almaty. Marco Kon will work on special program, devoted to the festival. Most of all Marco is interested in what is going on behind the scene and also in life of Kazakhstani stars. Yesterday Yugoslavs went sightseeing and today are planning to visit nightclubs of Almaty and to meet with our charming girls. “Even at the times when I was in Belgrade I was told that there are very beautiful and exotic girls in Almaty”- he says. Apart from music Zikki is seriously studying theology. Svetlana Slavkovich responds about Zikki as about sincere and keen person.

first contestant Zikki from Yugoslavia arrived in Almaty at 6.00 a.m. together with Zikki
Svetlana Slavkovich, who became a prizewinner of the first premium in1997, arrived. The
start was more than successful- Svetlana has become very popular in her country, released
sole album and has become member of jury of well-known festival “Slavyansky Bazar”
this time Svetlana appears in the role of Zikki’ s producer and guest of the festival.
She has brought several new songs for the judge of our spectators.
The idea to
predict results of the festival was offered by general director, Murat Irgaliev. The
prognosis will be sealed up and will be opened as soon as all winners will be known and
announces on the official ceremony of rewards. Then it will be the time to know whether
Svetlana Slavkovich is real gypsy.
On “Voice of Asia” he
will sing three songs: “I am dying”, “My song” and “For you”. Recently one of
them helped him to win on the festival “Slavyansky Bazar”. However, it is not
important for “Voice of Asia”, as it is not the first time when prizewinner of
different prestigious festivals did not win any prize, while performing in Almaty.
Furthermore, six singers who were performing on “Slavyansky Bazar” were even unable to
get in the list of contestants. Requirements appeared to be higher.
