From July 28 till August 1 at the "Medeo" gorge took place International festival "Voice of Asia". During the festival were held Festival of children creativity, XXI century designers’ festival and V contest of Contemporary song of Kazakhstan.

At the festival was also traditional celebrating one of the famous artist of Kazakhstan - National artist of USSR, Legend of Kazakhstan Music-Hall Ms. Bibigul Tulegenova.
