This year jury have a new points system. Members of jury can put only one highest mark - 20 points. Next marks 18 and 16 should be put only once too. So everyday each juryman is selecting three favourite artists. Points from 6 to 14 can be put to as many artist as juryman wishes. He even can give all remaining 12 contestants same mark.

Also as usual best composer, arranger and sound designer will be selected by open voting in jury.

After second day of the contest jury members talked about their impressions about contest and about participants. They all agreed that musical level of contestants is very high, and it's very tough to selectet winners. Each of them selected their list of leaders and outsiders, but final announcement will be made today.

People's artist of the USSR Eugene Doga mentioned that festival should remind high authorities that it has it's right to be main moral action of the state.

Vice-president of FIDOF, producer from Finland Antero Paivalainen was very glad that despite of economic crisis, which affected many international fetivals "Voice of Asia" is still alive and continue to be high professional contest. He added :"I'm going to select one of the singers and I'll do my best to make him or her international star".

Author of many soviet hits composer Eduard Khanok consider that everything nowdays is decided by money, and it's very difficult for real talents to enter the stage. That's why organizers should invite more producers or get more money for festival. "Or even Grand-prix winner of the festival will be known only in frames of the contest".

But golden voice of Bulgaria Biser Kirov doesn't agree with this opinion "I think that live itself is choosing her heros and only most talanted wins. We should take care of this festivals and protect them like gold. Make them more popular not only in Asia, but in Europe too"

Best composer of VoA 2001 Venee Saturno from Philippines admited that it was difficult decision for him to become member of jury, cause there are few his own songs in the contest. "But I promise to be objective and next year if I'm again member of jury I won't compose any songs for it".

Chief producer of "Voice of Asia" festival Murat Irgaliyev added that jury is formed by professionals. And about contestants "In world of show-biz public recognize and love not only those who have good vocals. And we should also consider it".
