SENSATION!

For the first time in the history of the festival the chiefdirector Alexander Ponomarev decided to disclose mystery, concerning some points of great show which will be held on the 2,3,4 August in the Palace of Republic.

The chief director of the festival Alexander Ponomarev is thinking the course over every day.

Each festival organizer tries to surprise audience and participants. It can be fashion show, lottery, children’s song festival or flowers festival.

On the first day 16 different kinds of flowers, which grow in Almaty and suburbs, will be given to 16 participants… On the second day participants will give an interview on the stage and tell something about themselves. On the third day participants will share their impressions about Kazakhstan, Almaty, festival…

There are some binding conditions at the festival. The main purpose of the festival is to revive and comprehend the national melodies. So, the first and the third day’s songs should confirm to this condition. But the second day is more creative. Every participant can choose the repertoire to his\her taste.

"Kazakhstan and its musical traditions are excellent framing for the competition”-says Alexander Ponomarev. Every day of the festival will be started by kuy (It is Kazakh national musical improvisation). Producer’s group pays great attention to the succession of generations in musical traditions of the Kazakhstany people. On the 1^st day Murat Kusainov will perform the melody of steppe. He is ”legend” of Kazakh music. On the 2nd day the young performer Aynur Omirzhanova will play the dombra. On the 3^rd day Ernur Dosmuhamedov will start the festival.
