ALTYNAY
ZHORABAYEVA

She lives in Shymkent, Southern Kazakhstan. Altynay
is a fourth-year student of the International Kazakh-Turkish
University. She used to sing in the «Kazygurt» folk ensemble and
now is the soloist of the «Turan» ensemble. In 1997, she became a
laureate of the regional young singers’ contest «Arai» and was a
finalist of the Republic «Zhas Kanat» contest.
