With all my heart I greet the participants, guests and jury of the fourteenth International festival "Azia dauysy" in our city! We are proud that for more than ten years Almaty fairly carries the title of Kazakhstani art cradle. In our city always prevails true creative atmosphere, here were born and continue to appear beautiful musical compositions and works of literature, theatre and cinema, fine art. Our artists and bands are well-known all over the world now. But we also like to accept messengers of other countries and nations. Our viewers and listeners have special gift to value the precious talent. And now for the fourteenth time our city widely opens its arms to participants of the International festival "Azia dauysy". Almaty has selected and invited, and trusted You to write the next page of its favorite musical project the International festival "Azia duysy" history. Many years ago the Great Silk Way passed these places. Caravans carried through the continent not only goods but information about other countries and nations, sciences, knowledge… Also people knew about culture of other worlds. At those times Silk Way became the road of two-way traffic. And though the Time enlarged horizons and possibilities it seems to me that "Azia dauysy" continues the tradition of cultural exchange, gathering the talents from all over the world. For 14 years the International festival "Azia dauysy" is a colorful Musical forum where creative ways and interests of everybody, for whom music is a style of life, expressed in sounds, cross. Every year stupefies by new discoveries. To make the contest an unforgettable holiday is a special art and only true talents, introducing bright coloring to the course of events, are capable of doing it. We are thankful to You for Your creativeness which makes the world around us brighter and more colorful and brings together nations, helping them to understand each other more.
