A university graduate, she got the first prize in the «Best Singers» contest in 1990, the first prize in the popular singers’ contest «‘Double Star’ Cup» in 1992, and the second prize in the «New People, New Styles, New Songs» national contest in 1996. In 1998, she was named the best participant of the «Big Red Eagle» TV-contest.
