She was born in a village not far from Palestine, in the family of a musician-instrument maker. Her father inflamed a love before her to the Classical Arabic music since her early childhood. She educated as a Social work at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, but her desire to singing won it. She met composer Mr. Said Murad and she has been appearing with his band since then.
